"Life is too short to spend it tangled up the way many of us do. We truly are a generation who can change the world, but not by becoming a part of the problem. Many Americans have bought into selfishness and racism as a way of life, and we wonder what's wrong. We have been going about our lives in ways that have not resulted in what we all individually hope to look back and see that our lives were about. Honestly, many Americans are simply wasting their lives hating one another, but it doesn't have to be that way."
